MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., May 30, 2018 – Be The Match BioTherapies®, an organization offering solutions for companies developing and commercializing cellular therapies, announced that it will host a Cell & Gene Therapy Standardization Summit today from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CT in Minneapolis, Minn.

The event will bring together a small group of influential stakeholders in the cell and gene therapy industry to discuss the need for standardization and coordination amongst cell and gene therapy companies, the apheresis and transplant center networks, and other industry and professional groups involved in the development and delivery of therapies. Key topics for discussion include creating a system of standardization for apheresis and transplant centers, how to produce a quality and consistent starting material for new therapies and the development of an advocacy plan for industry-wide standardization.
